Chocolate Chip Cookies, Dairy Free & Gluten Free
Here's a recipe that we've refined for several years now-- it's possible that people won't know they're dairy free & gluten free if you don't tell them!
Ingredients
- 3 cups millet flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 2 eggs (one brown, one white, ideally)
- 2 sticks (1 cup) natural source plant butter
- 2 tsp vanilla or similar flavor (black walnut works well)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 bag of Geffen real chocolate chips
- microwave bowl & microwave
- big mixing bowl
- cookie sheets & oven
Suggested Directions
- preheat oven to 375F
- blend eggs with the salt & soda & powder (in mixing bowl)
- microwave butter until soft, but not clear liquid (or low heat on stove)
- stir flavoring into soft butter
- stir both sugars into eggs mix
- add flavored soft butter to mixing bowl
- mix, adding flour slowly to create dough
- add real chocolate chips to dough
- Bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes: allow to cool before moving to plate or etc
